So surgeons intend to manipulate every organ system I have left and suture it into "the place God intended." This includes the stomach, duodenum, small intestine, colon, possibly pancreas and liver. They may do a liver biopsy ---- apparently why the "F" not.... They intend to lyse any adhesions, remove a mesh I've had since a hernia repair ten years ago Because it's likely affecting the mix. They intend to give me IV nutrition postoperative since my weight/BMI is so low they just want to encourage my body's ability to heal with nutrition. My med-surg RN husband said this is both typical and smart. So..... ok.

Of course there are risks and a chance of this or that ..... but it's all part of any major leap of faith.

Had a Mild episode today...... likely my body's way of reminding me why we're here doing all this in the first place!

That said ---- my husband and I have had some great adult quality time and even went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame today. Very cool.

Tonight and all day tomorrow are final "prep" days----- read between the lines..... some antibiotics to take, magnesium citrate (joy joy) and totally clear liquids so no protein shakes and meal replacements. (So long Starbucks mochas, too..... I'll see you soon...).

Thanks for the incredible outpouring of support! Mike and I are beyond moved by everyone's love and prayers.

Oh-----and BEST part of the day----- I got to tell my little rising stage star of a daughter that she was cast as the White Rabbit in Laura's Center for the Arts production of Alice in Wonderland Jr! Yay!!!!!!

Despite these stressful appointments and preps etc ----- there is always ALWAYS something to be grateful for!
